Volunteer Exchange Program with Open House Europe 2024

Get involved in the international volunteer exchange program as part of the Open House Europe project! Selected volunteers will have a unique opportunity this year to participate in one of three Open House festivals in these European cities – German Essen (September 7–8, 2024), Swedish Stockholm (October 4–6, 2024), or Estonian Tallinn (October 12–13, 2024).

Expand your knowledge and volunteering experience, and establish new connections with people who share the same passion for architecture and culture as you do! Explore how other Open House festivals operate worldwide and have plenty of fun together with volunteers from other European cities.

What will be the nature of your activities?

Each Open House festival is slightly different. In some cities, you may guide or coordinate visitors in buildings, while in others, they may utilize your photographic or other organizational skills. But most importantly, you will become an ambassador for the Open House festival and gain valuable experiences that you can then share with us and other volunteers!

Conditions for applying to the program:

  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You are proficient in English.
  • You have participated at least once as a volunteer in the Open House Prague festival.
  • You are available during the specific dates of the festivals.

Selected participants in the volunteer exchange program will be required to sign a cooperation agreement, and after completing the trip, they must fill out a feedback questionnaire.

Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the partners of the Open House Europe project.

Please submit your applications by February 19, 2024.

Three of you will get an amazing opportunity to explore European architecture.

You will receive information about the outcome of your application by March 4, 2024.
