Open House Prague is not just a festival. It is an experience, encounters, and stories hidden behind the walls of buildings that are usually inaccessible. Every year, it is created by people who want to discover the city differently — and share it with others. Join our volunteer program!
The Open House Prague festival takes place May 18–24, 2026 and offers free weekend access to dozens of architecturally interesting buildings and spaces across Prague. You can also look forward to a diverse accompanying program throughout the week, full of tours, discussions, and other events.
Volunteers are an essential part of the festival every year, contributing both to the preparations and to the event itself. Anyone who wants to help open the city to everyone and contribute to the unique atmosphere of the festival can become a volunteer.
For the festival weekend we are looking for:
🔑 Tour Guides
- Experience the city from the inside.
- Tell the stories of buildings and help shape the festival with us.
- Previous guiding experience is not required.
🧭 Coordinators
- A role full of challenges, communication, and adrenaline.
- You will be in contact with the public and handle situations on site.
- You need to be proactive and able to communicate information clearly.
💪 Team Leaders
- You ensure the smooth running of your assigned area – coordinating volunteers, communicating with buildings, managing logistics, and responding flexibly to changes or unexpected situations.
- You support volunteers, build a functional team, and communicate clearly and effectively.
- You maintain overview, handle pressure well, think ahead, and set processes so that things run smoothly and independently.
