Explore Lower Žižkov and Bethlehem Chapel on English Tour!

9. 1. 2023

On Sunday, February 5 at 1.30 pm, we are holding a special walking tour in English of the lower part of the Žižkov district with a visit to the local Bethlehem Chapel.

The walking tour will introduce the lower part of Žižkov, explain the urban development of this residential district and show some of the district’s oldest houses as well as the most valuable buildings in terms of history and culture. The tour will also include a visit to the local Bethlehem Chapel, a low-key but impressive modernist building with elements from cubist architecture, located in an inner courtyard near the Žižkov Town Hall.

“There is no doubt that Žižkov is a very special Prague district. During the tour, we will talk about how the district has developed since the 19th century and why it has a such a unique spirit,” says Michal Šedivý, guide of the tour.

Because this tour is in English, we would like to invite long-term residents and foreign visitors of Prague to join us! The expected duration of the tour is approximately 90 minutes.

More details and tickets can be found here.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
